A New Communication Channel: Official SipPulse Blog Launch!

We are taking advantage of the new year to launch a new channel for exchanging information about the world of future telecommunications that, in fact, is already present today.

VoIP, SIP, Asterisk, Elastix, and many other components will be a constant theme in our posts. Weekly, we will bring news, information, and experiences about these technologies, their applications, benefits, and how and when to use them.

Our history

In 1995, we launched the company V.Office, which throughout its life became a specialist in data communication network projects, focusing our projects not only on technology but also on how the addition of new resources would offer our clients opportunities to add new services for their employees and clients, supporting the efficiency of their businesses.

More recently, with the expansion of communication network capacity and improvement of available technology, it became possible to include a new service over data networks: media transmission (voice and video). In 2005, we were pioneers in developing Asterisk-based solutions for internal voice communication networks.

Our next step was to find a solution that would support the scalability and volumes that telecommunications service operators, such as established PSTNs, demand. Thus, building on a tradition of innovation and strengthened by our own experiences, in 2007 our founder joined the OpenSIPs Foundation and created SipPulse in Brazil, which aggregates various technologies to bring the best solutions for STFC and SCM operators and also corporations that want to connect their employees economically and efficiently.

The future of telephony

Data from Anatel indicates that broadband access growth has been growing above the growth of cell phone usage. And since broadband is already paid for and can support media traffic, why not invest in VoIP to reduce your telephony costs?

We invite everyone to follow our blog. Weekly, we will address technological, functional, and business topics.
